Medicare will process the claim within 24 hours.
Patients are eligible for the Medicare rebate ($60.80 per consultation) if your GP provides a referral and GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP), previously referred to as an Extended Patient Care (EPC) Plan. These plans are available to patients with a chronic health condition including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or a gastrointestinal condition. Your GP coordinates these plans.
Some Health Insurance Policies cover part of our consultation fee, depending on extras included in individual policies. Rebates vary among Insurers so check with your insurance provider to see if you are eligible for such rebates.
